Who we are
LiveComps Teams is operated by [Legal entity name] (ABN [ABN]), based in Australia. We are responsible for the personal information handled through this service. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [privacy@yourdomain.com].
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
The short version
- Access is invitation-only. Nothing on this service is public, searchable, or browsable.
- We collect the minimum needed: your email to give you access, and a record of what you buy so you can download it again.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run advertising or tracking cookies.
- Photos and videos are stored securely and only shown to families who have been invited.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we collect:
- Your email address — to invite you, verify it's you at sign-in, and link you to the correct club and competition.
- Sign-in tokens — short-lived, single-use links (they expire after 30 minutes) used only to log you in. We do not store passwords.
- Purchase records — your email, the payment reference, the amount paid, and the items you bought, with a personal download link for each.
- Limited technical data — your IP address is used briefly to protect the service against abuse (for example, limiting repeated sign-in attempts).
We do not store children's names. Folders and file names use only club names and competitor numbers. A child cannot be identified from the text we store; they can only be recognised by looking at the images themselves.
Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Photos and videos of children
Many subjects in this media are minors, so we treat it as sensitive. The media is stored securely and shown only to families who have been specifically invited to the relevant competition gallery.
A parent or guardian can ask us to remove images of their child at any time by contacting [privacy@yourdomain.com]. [Operator to add: who provides consent for capture and sale of a child's images, and the lawful basis for handling them.]
How we use your information
- To give you access to the correct gallery and verify it is you when you sign in.
- To process your purchase and deliver your download links.
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
- To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the service. They process data only on our instructions and are not permitted to sell it:
- Stripe — payment processing (card details, name, transaction data).
- Dropbox — secure storage of the photos and videos.
- Resend — sending sign-in and download emails.
- Neon — our database (emails, memberships, purchase records), hosted in Australia.
- Vercel — hosting the website.
We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics/tracking cookies. Because the only cookie is essential, choosing to reject cookies means you will not be able to sign in. Your choice is remembered in your browser.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you have access to a gallery and for the period we need to keep purchase records. [Operator to confirm specific retention periods for memberships, purchase records, and stored media, and when each is deleted.]
Your choices and rights
- You can remove your own access to a gallery at any time from your dashboard.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing [privacy@yourdomain.com].
- A parent or guardian can request removal of images of their child.
If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Security
We protect your information with passwordless single-use sign-in links, strict access checks on every request, encrypted-at-rest storage with our providers, rate limiting, and standard web security protections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and will notify affected users and the OAIC of any eligible data breach as required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
